XB-Series Nine-Axis Welding Robot: 3D Scanning and Reverse Modeling, 300% Efficiency Gain

On April 1, inside the intelligent production workshop of Shanxi Zhongbei Huike Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., technicians were commissioning the XB-Series (9-axis) robot of the welding workstation. Breaking with conventional welding methods, the workstation uses high-precision 3D scanning to build a reverse model of the workpiece; it then intelligently identifies the weld seam path and generates the welding path automatically, achieving fully automated welding. Compared with manual welding, the equipment raises welding efficiency by 300% and achieves a weld pass rate of over 99.8%. It has been successfully applied in high-end manufacturing fields such as shipbuilding, aerospace precision components and new-energy vehicle battery trays.
